I read books so my soul can shriek in delight.

I once started saying that “When one book closes, another book opens” or something like that…

We lose ourselves in books, we find ourselves there too.

Nothing is more embarrassing than trying to explain your book to a non-reader…

When you read the world goes quite if only for a moment everything pauses and you experience magic. That’s why I write.
