So Labour claimed they inherited a £22 billion black hole in the finances. In a little over a year that has increased to £50 billion. Need we say more about their performance?

Whilst peace is to be celebrated, let's not forget how this started. Not on 07.Oct.23 - just the latest battle - but 1968 when Israel decided that Palestinians didn't exist & should be removed from the area, and we all turned a blind eye due to shame about the holocaust.

President Ramaphosa: back the billionaire tax at the G20! action.eko.org/a/president-...

When people are getting so filthy rich without lifting a finger, they feel uncomfortable about it themselves, something clearly needs to be done. @patmillsuk.bsky.social
President Ramaphosa: back the billionaire tax at the G20!
Right now, the world stands at a crossroads: billionaires are hoarding obscene wealth while millions struggle just to survive. But for the first time ever, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has

On 07.Oct.23 Hamas had up to 30,000 fighters. Israel estimates there are up to 18,000 remaining. Of the 67,000 known to be killed, 49,000 must be civilians. That's 34 civilians for every 1 Israeli killed or taken. And we know others will be buried in the rubble. How is that "reasonable defence"?

I wonder whether #Microsoft will respond to the negative feedback they're getting about dropping Publisher? I wonder whether #Microsoft365 will help us find a viable alternative, rather than suggesting things which either don't do the job, or will take weeks to change to, and then won't do the job?

1/2 Angela Rayner has said: FPTP “can lead to individuals being elected with only a small proportion of the total votes cast,” and her English Devolution Bill proposes dropping it to improve democracy.

I have a little sympathy for PA, not much, but a bit. At least I did, until I read that they've targeted Lord Balfour. They clearly haven't read the Balfour Declaration which clearly states that the existing population, i.e. mostly Palestinians, were not to be harmed in any way.

Now we have an admission from inside of what we've all suspected for a very long time. Ukraine is just the start. Meanwhile the US cares less, so long as they can do a trade deal with Putin.

This might be important. Many of us have been wondering why our leaders wouldn't call out Israel on its treatment of Palestinians since long before 07.Oct.23. This definition of antisemitism could be the root cause.

Horrified by the Menendez brothers story. That we were so dismissive of their abuse claims. And that a court hearing can exclude such essential information- it was for the jury to decide whether they were telling the truth or not. How can they do that if the information is withheld? Outrageous.

Congratulations ladies, now a predatory male doesn't need to dress as a woman to go into female toilets and pretend to be trans, he can just go in looking like a bloke and say he was born female. I know which scenario I felt safer with.

Fun fact: there is one health and care worker for every 22 people in the UK (as of 2022) and we call the NHS 'broken'. There is one government/civil service employee for every 133 people. They are expected to manage everything, including health and social care.
