I think his post is correct. The actual Democratic Party is a ruined brand. It fecklessly pretends election after election that it can succeed by alienating its natural base and reaching for rightwing voters. Failing to jail Trump in 2021 and failing to push Biden aside in time were fatal steps.

They aren't defending the country now, and their costly investments in yesterday's weapons will fail to defend it in the future.
