I'm in awe. Somehow they and their tame decorator managed to turn a modern penthouse with clean rectangular lines into a claustrophobic nouveau riche Gilded Age bijou flat.

But they are indeed trashy. They are neither complicated nor subtle. They're easy to make, easy to drink, and they get you nice and tipsy nice and fast.

And yeah, thinner. Not too bad but my parts are definitely wider than they used to be. Fortunately chemo leaves you philosophical about this. At least I do have some. 😄

Hormones do funny stuff. Less estrogen (menopause+breast cancer= no HRT) makes my hair lighter and straighter. Go figure.

It's a good sweatshirt. Got it at Sequoia National Park, which is why I know exactly how old it is. 🙂

I had to get a new phone. Because the battery in my not-all-that-old one went bad.
I tried replacing it. A new battery was around $20 + new case sealing tape.
I couldn't get the old battery out. It was solidly glued in place. I was afraid I'd crack the phone getting it out.
This is just Wrong.

We still aren't certain about that. We may simply be looking at the wrong things to reach that conclusion. It's one of those "Research is ongoing" things.
