23 members, external members (lawyers, business, real estate and insurance people) seem to have a narrow majority, so even if internal members were to speak/vote with one voice, they would be outnumbered...decisions on actions can be agreed by a simple majority vote.

The Principal plus SLT are the largely face of these cuts, but reading up on the Court, I think it you are right - "management" must be largely defined as this triad. The Court is UoE's governing body and the owner of the University’s assets...

Thank you for this thread! I am asking myself who exactly is "management" of UoE? I don't mean in terms of names, but regarding power and functions to begin with. Where would you put the Court in all of this?
