It’s the usual ITK spoofers taking advantage of United’s result against Arsenal to drive more clicks and followers to their page. That being said, if we do lose to Newcastle and Man City in our next two games, it’s hard to see Slot surviving past that.

Slumlord would be a more appropriate choice given the state of those properties!

We’ve left ourselves with one heck of a rebuilding job in a WC year.
Likely outs: Mo, Chiesa, Robbo, Endo, Konate, Gomez and Arne Slot with Alexis Mac likely to draw attention from Spain if we fail to get top 4.
January 13, 2026 at 3:57 PM
Yup, foolish and short sighted. It looks like they’ve made up their mind on Slot and want to use the summer to shape the squad for whoever the next manager is (Alonso/ Nagelsmann/ Cesc) instead of trying to salvage this season.
January 13, 2026 at 3:48 PM
One possible explanation for this madness is that they’ve decided that Slot is not the man and they won’t spend big to back him, esp if top 4 is still at risk regardless based on the way we’ve played so far this season. As always, Hughes stays silent behind the scenes and fans are left to guess.
January 12, 2026 at 1:37 PM
It’s a formidable opponent that they are up against, but I think they have enough in them to grind a win past Kevin Patullo.
January 11, 2026 at 9:42 PM
It could always be worse - imagine we let Gyokeres score!
January 7, 2026 at 6:58 PM
Slot’s incredibly lucky that we’re clinging onto 4th because United and Chelsea have been even bigger dumpster fires than us.
January 1, 2026 at 7:43 PM
Game on the line and Slot’s system has Virgil trying a hopeful shot from 25 yards out. We could’ve played till midnight and not scored a goal even with all the attacking players on the pitch. On the contrary, Leeds looked infinitely more dangerous on the rare attempts they ventured into our half.
January 1, 2026 at 7:27 PM
Anything’s better than watching Gakpo’s attempts at being a PL winger.
January 1, 2026 at 7:18 PM
He’s struggling to get into the game and his first touch has let him down on more than one occasion in promising situations. He’s been on a good run of form lately so hopefully things improve in the second half.
January 1, 2026 at 6:19 PM
Take it with a grain of salt, but the rumors from Ecuadorian media are that we’ve agreed terms with Ordonez and are negotiating with Brugge for his transfer. I’ll be a happy camper if that one happens.
January 1, 2026 at 4:19 PM
Semenyo, we need someone with his raw physicality and transition threat. Rogers is still a bit too inconsistent for my liking.
December 22, 2025 at 4:27 PM
I think he’ll be back around April, a broken ankle recovery will probably have a similar timeframe to Harvey’s injury a few years ago.
December 21, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Yup, and recall Harvey from his farce of a loan in Jan. If Slot decides to persist with the diamond in midfield, then Harvey is tailor made to play as the #10 as a backup to Wirtz.
December 21, 2025 at 4:26 PM
At this point, that wouldn’t be a bad outcome. Slot’s personnel decisions have been baffling and the team’s tactical shape is a mess. It very much feels like the last days of Brendan with us sacrificing any semblance of attacking fluency and control to shore up the backline.
December 21, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Anything but the Achilles. If it’s the Achilles, then he’s cooked and we’ve just thrown 125 mill into the drain. Best case scenario at this point is probably a severe ankle ligament injury or high ankle sprain that should likely keep him out until March or April.
December 21, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Keep Salah, sign Semenyo or another forward. And tell Slot to start using Chiesa and Rio as he should’ve been doing since the start of the season.
December 21, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Basically read that to mean that Mo gets his farewell home game with us tomorrow while his agent and Hughes/Edwards sort out a move for him in Jan while he’s away for AFCON.
December 12, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Klopp was right about Edwards. He may be talented at his job, but he is absolutely toxic to team morale. He needed a Klopp and a Gordon to keep his ego under check. Now I fear the damage he can unwittingly do without either of them to rein him in.
December 12, 2025 at 4:53 PM
And Richard Hughes can sod off with the rest of them. He’s hidden behind Slot without fronting up to take accountability for this shitshow of a season. Not to mention leaking news stories to his pals in the media trying throw one of our all time legends under the bus.
December 12, 2025 at 4:03 PM
He’s gotten unbearable. Especially when he was caught on mic not too long ago telling his son on the phone that Slot needs to be sacked. He doesn’t care if Slot stays or goes and just wants to bully Mo to feed his fragile ego. I hope the club sends a strong message to him to stop this nonsense.
December 12, 2025 at 3:57 PM
If Alonso is unattainable, my choice would be Nagelsmann. If we can’t tempt him away from his role with Germany, then my third preference would be Glasner. Iraola is still too unproven at the top level for us to take a gamble on.
December 4, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Xabi Alonso. Won the CL with us as a player, led Leverkusen to an invincible title winning season and knows how to get the best out of Wirtz. With the way things are brewing in Madrid, we may have an opportunity to pounce and poach him from there.
December 4, 2025 at 12:41 PM
I’m sure Parish is behind it. He’s probably pissed off that he wasn’t able to pocket a more sizeable fee last summer. Now, with Glasner refusing to renew his contract and Palace in no danger of relegation, he’ll try to recoup whatever value is left on Guehi’s deal, however silly the optics may be.
