This is my favorite page in Nova #2 since it encapsulates the fun and lightheartedness of the story.

One aspect I always enjoy about seeing a heroes journey is when said hero is learning how to use their own powers

Its always such a cool a moment to see, and seeing Sam sort of learning how to even use the helmet.

Nova #2: I love how fast the pacing is in this book, I guess it would be intentional since Nova moves at an accelarated rate. Also for some readers seeing Sam wondering off into the distance would be wasting alot of space, but I saw it more of Sam thinking things over.

Oh my, can't we take a moment and appreciate how fantastic this comic cover of Nova #2.

One aspect I did like about Amazing X-Men #1 is how Jed MacKay was able to keep the mystery and intrigue since we are basically following along with Scott and Beast (Hank McCoy) throughout this bleak future in the timeline.

Mahmud Asrar’s art is stunning. I literally couldn't take my eyes of the page with how dynamic it is.

The best moment for me in this issue was when the X-Men team was facing against Wolverine.

Amazing X-Men #1 I feel just as frustrated as Scott in this issue since the mutants have gained a victory, but it still feels odd. Wolverine is alot more terrifying than ever before & it sucks that the main #XMen team is backed into a corner since they have alot of enemies everywhere

It feels so strange to be caught up with the books in the From the Ashes era, but I am glad since I am able to read the Age of Revelation event with everyone else

Also, these #XMen books wasn't as bad folks made it out to be since I would definitely recommend to it to new readers

I loved Ed McGuinness' artwork in Nova #1 since its so vibrant and energetic. It really suits this comic really well considering its part of the Marvel Cosmic universe.

Nova #1: You know what, I certainly missed reading the beginning of a heroes journey, and seeing Sam Alexander discover the secrets from his father is exciting since there is so much mystery to Richard Rider and why he is on earth considering he is part of the Nova Corps.

One thing I loved about reading X-Men Age of Revelation Overture is that this new status quo feels so bold & cinematic if that makes any sense even when you compare it to the likes of the Age of Apocalypse (1995).

Jed MacKay is definitely cooking.

X-Men Age of Revelation Overture : Sheesh. This comic is pretty bleak. I did not expect most of the major players to be taken out in this X-Men event. The stakes are immediately clear and gripping, making the story feel urgent and impossible to ignore.

I think the most important of part Green Lantern (1990) #2 that caught my eye was seeing John Stewart investigating the destruction on OA.

It is mortifying that one of the Guardians did this.

Now I question, where are the other lanterns since we only have 3 active only ?

#GreenLantern (1990) #2 It took me a bit to used to this type of story, but I do find it fascinating Hal Jordan is looking for a purpose outside of being a Green Lantern

Guy Gardner is a jerk, I totally understand where he comes from even though his actions don't reflect it, lol.

The artwork in Age of Revelation #0 by Humberto Ramos is a bit rough for me, but I do get why he was chosen to be part of this creative team since it really shows how bleak the future it is for the X-Men and most life in that time period.

I am not surprised that Doug Ramsey and Scott Summers had a falling out in Age of Revelation #0. Sadly Doug is still thinking somewhat the same as Apocalypse.

Also, I am shocked that Magik has been taken out in the future. This is nuts since she is one of my faves.😭

Age of Revelation #0 I am not opposed with #XMen editorial doing somewhat a different take on the Age of Apocalypse storyline since its is different now since Doug Ramsey is the antagonist of this story

Overall this is definitely shaping up to be an exciting event to read

With the current X-Men event "Age of Revelation" currently ongoing in Marvel Comics, I am truly hoping we do get see the Outliers and The Uncanny X-Men team again ASAP since the story is not complete yet.

Also I need to know who is Inmate X????

Uncanny #XMen #21 I am sad that this is the last issue of this run for now, but I really loved how this run centred itself around the idea of a found family

Its very evident when we delved deeper into Ransom's family history

Now the biggest question I have is, what's next?

I am so glad. I don’t care for “zany” Deadpool and I don’t care for Punisher Wade, either.

I like him funny, but there’s pain under it.

I am not the biggest fan of Deadpool, but the way Gail Simone writes him in Uncanny X-Men #19 had me laughing that I am willing to go read some her of runs of Deadpool.

My favorite moment in Uncanny #XMen #20 is when we finally get to see where Monet has been ever since Krakoa ended

I loved the conversation between Monet and Dr Ellis since the tide is turning back to the X-Men and we may know who inmate X is very soon.

Uncanny X-Men #20 definitely delivers on what it has promised when this run began. We finally get more information on Ransom's background and it was awesome to see a team up with Wolverine and Ransom. Most the scenes hit hard and fast especially with action sequences.

I have only read Kyle Rayners run, & its surprising how popular he was in the 90s.
jodotharen.bsky.social
Oh wow, I really do need to read this run asap.

it sounds like fun and I do like teams up.
jodotharen.bsky.social
Also it was sweet to see more character moments in Uncanny X-Men #19 of The Outliers since they have really bonded.
Ransom and Deathdream see each other as brothers and Calico and Jitter are officially dating.
