Leavanny.
I had an insanely stressful week at work and couldn't draw. This hiatus made me worried I would lose progress. Anyways I'm not too happy with this one, I was FULLY convinced that Leavanny has a triangular head and was disappointed when I compared what I drew to the reference.

Dewott has such a memorable design. Seems like a great majority of people agree that Dewott is the best second stage starter evolution in Pokemon. Simple and effective.

I was pretty tired and kind of down today but I still made myself draw something. If I wanna get better I gotta stay consistent. Didn't realise that one of the legs was much larger than the other till the end so I tried "fixing" it :P

V1 from ULTRAKILL.
First time drawing without using a direct reference!!! I'm pretty happy about it, the only reference I used was the playermodel of V1. I drew the pose and everything by myself, I'm pretty proud.
It isn't perfect but I like it.

To be completely honest, I hate having bad days when drawing. Even though I am aware that sometimes it just happens, I still can't shake the thought, "What's happening? Am I losing my ability to draw?"

Today, EVERYTHING I drew was crappy :P
It's just one of those days I guess. I did some quick warm up drawings, then tried drawing Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice, sketch was okay, but I MESSED up the lineart, then to redeem myself a quick 2 minute Reshiram sketch :/

More Girls' Last Tour, I really like the artstyle of it. It's simple but with a lot of details, makes it really fun to draw.

Not counting days anymore, been practicing figure drawing and poses, hoping it helps me draw better proportions in the future. Here's the last piece I did 3 days ago, reference used was the cover for Girls' Last Tour volume 1. Started reading it the other day. (I still suck at coloring)

I was so surprised by how much I liked my Braixen drawing that for day 9 I did digital again, purely to see if I just got extremely lucky with drawing ok day 8. Here's Maractus, I like this one a lot. (Posting my process as well in replies)

Day 8 is where it gets interesting, I decide to try digital once again, I was very, very happy with this, seeing as I expected digital to be harder (but keep in mind, me practicing, started with digital). I used Krita, no tracing, only reference.

Day 6 I really wanted to draw Power from Chainsaw Man. Went with a "simple" reference image (nothing is simple for me as a beginner). One thing I can say, it looks very different from the reference image but I still liked it. My excuse is "maybe this is my own artstyle developing" lol.

Day 5. I decided to take a risk and draw a human character as much as I was scared of messing up I knew I needed to draw harder things in order to improve. Since I recently read Fullmetal Alchemist, I really wanted to draw Edward Elric and found a reference image from the anime. I was happy with it.

On day 4 I tried using different type colors, I thought it would help. Since I am very much a beginner I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I bought a cheaper set with an okayish color range. I have mixed feelings about this one. One thing I noticed, my eye placement was better.

Day 3 was a day I was really happy about when I first finished it, something felt off and later on I noticed one of Riolu's eyes was a bit smaller, I seemingly made the mistake when sketching and neglected to fix it, regardless I was happy with this one.

Day 2 was a Maractus drawing, I did not like this one so a couple of days ago i actually did a "redraw" of it digitally using Krita and my drawing tablet and I liked that version a lot more!

This year, I decided to try learning to draw, so I started drawing in a new sketchbook and planned on drawing every 2-3 days. My original idea was drawing a new pokemon every day I drew, but I ended up drawing a couple of different things along the way. I might post some "progress" pics occasionally
