Yeah, that’s never happened in my lifetime. The taxes never go down, the government just finds new “needs” so property taxes continue to go up.

Sucks to be me when I’m 72 and still working because I can’t afford to pay the property taxes on my 900 square foot house built in 1955, especially when I have to do repairs on it constantly. I don’t want the value of my home to go up when I’m already struggling to pay taxes on it.
