I'm a Brit living in China, I'm a keen photographer and musician, and like to read, travel, explore, try different things and foods, whatever. I come here mainly for the photos.
Got to be surveillance, keep your head down; it's going to get worse before it gets better, in my view.

Gets a bit bumpy over the Urals as a rule, but at least that tells me I'm well on the way home.

YouTube is Meta, and Zuckerberg is so far up Trump's arse that it's highly unlikley anything so contentious will ever get posted. I regularly get kicked off FB for posting Trump related satirical pictures.

Hope you enjoy China just as much. I've lived there for many years now, and still find it an amazing place to be.

Generally, after my first coffee has spoken to the management, things look pretty much ok.

What an amazing place, and your photo certainly does it justice, nice work!

Can't beat Joni Mitchell!

My favourite artist. I saw an exhibition of her work in London, many years ago, hoping the girl in green would be on display (I forget the proper title), but it's apparently part of a private collection. Everything else was worth seeing though, utterly superb. Great post!

I had one of those, it's pretty much the perfect bike.

You can always spot a Villiers, nice to see it.

Remember, for British politicians, the only crime is in getting caught.

He has the most evil face of just about anybody I've ever seen; you can see it in his eyes.

Correct, scrap or pig iron (retired founfry metallurgist here); the statement in the Guardian about replacing blast furnaces with electric arc furnaces is utter nonsense. Also, metal is money, and how successive UK governments have consistently let it go into foreign ownership is ludicrous.

Phew!

Nice, though.

Of course, that's exactly what the Chinese or any other sensible government would do; Trump is committing commercial suicide, which was exactly my point. As for lapping propaganda, if you view the world via the media, then that's all you can do. I live in China, and see it for myself.

He seems to have made a decent impression on the Chinese goverment, far more dependable than Trump's clown circus.

Nice floor, too.

There is a really lovely Saxon church at Brixworth, in Northamtonshire. It has the nicest atmosphere of any church that I have been in, well worth a visit.

I guess the flint church has to be East Anglia, but have no idea about the other.

On of its first jobs will be to set up the concentration camp.
