Oh and the hinting that the Commonwealth is the only hope of humanity. If Todd Howard had his own dick any further up his ass he'd be shooting ropes through his nose. NCR? Never existed sorry. The Commonwealth though, thats where it's at. Just disregard the West Coast entirely.

But nah, gotta start fresh, every time a new settlement pops up it will invariably be nuked or blown up or overrun. Even settlements that have lasted 200+ years. Because that's Fallout now. Nothing ever changes, because war never changes. THEY DIDN'T MEAN THAT LITERALLY GUYS.

I guess the couldn't be bothered to write any interesting dialogue for the Kings. All of them (yes all of them) are inexplicably FERAL ghouls. In only like 20 years. For the non-Fallout fans watching the Kings would have been so good. An Elvis based faction. I mean COME ON. That's straight money.

I don't know. Bethesda has a vision of the series that just doesn't match my own. Which you'd think would be easy to avoid, given there's a reason so many people like New Vegas. I feel like this isn't a common issue, even the most cynical fans of other media still at least like most parts of it.

But other than that I find it hard to see genuinely core parts of my life be figuratively/literally destroyed in front of my eyes. Like New Vegas is legitimately important to me. So to see everything about it that I love be ruined like this is actually quite upsetting. As dumb as that sounds.

Some good things I like so far: Thaddeus is the best, he's a great comedic foil. Lucy addicted to chems is also a good bit. The set design is great. Victor was a nice touch. I love the scenes involving Vault 31/32/33 and Norm's group they're the only parts of the story that are actually engaging.

In fact, predicting it now. They will introduce the Courier as a wasteland legend. But he'll be pathetic in some way, or have a massive character defect. Then he'll die in a pointless way that literally only serves to further the storyline of Maximus probably. Boooooooooring.

You can so tell Todd Howard thinks about this when he's gooning. He hates that someone did Fallout better than him. That someone would be revered more than him. It's like Fallout is a guitar and Todd owns it. But he let Josh Sawyer borrow it once and every one thought he played better.

At one point, they go to the Fort and introduce a really interesting storyline about dueling factions in the power vacuum of Caesers death. Then just blow it up. Like based, but now there's just nothing. I get its only episode 4 but christ. McCarran, Primm, Camp Golf.
