Point of order for an addendum to the “everyone is 12” thesis: everything is 2005.

One of my favorites.

“My book was cited by the Supreme Court five times in civil rights cases last year. *pauses for effect* That’s the good news. The bad news is they were all in dissents.” Got jokes.

The future these people want:

You are a mark of the highest order if you take people like this seriously.

Therapy, medication, and boundaries help but, man, it feels like I’ve lost people.

They were always this way, of course, but at least they had the good sense to have some shame about it. Not anymore.

It profoundly pisses me off because it gives license for so many to express their own racism and it’s really damaged some foundational and valued personal relationships.

And they share this with some privileged insiders with no operational security so they can presumably benefit financially or by getting the drop on propaganda.
