Kathleen Kennedy was perfect for the job because she kept a balance between fanboys and folks who were indifferent. Creatives had a (relatively) blank canvas to push the series in different ways. Gonna be hilarious when fans realize this in a few years.

It wasn’t perfect by any means, but GOT was universally panned in a way this isn’t.

I enjoyed it and all my irl friends did too. Social media rewards harsh discourse, and the show is so popular it has a huge target on its back. A lot like the perpetual Avatar hate.
