My 20s back, if you don’t mind
I’m leading a team (2) of product engineers now and trying to break them of this habit in a codebase that institutionalized over-componentization. It’s exhausting the kind of over-engineering that many logic paths can produce over time. Keeping trees long-ass is more adaptable for evolving codebase.
