I'm more worried about which "material" was being sought after that's contrived to be "only if we kill/ destroy this oh so innocent creature".
though someone pointed out that the whole "de aging" thing is shot, when humans have the tech to essentially upload consciousness into spare bodies

I mean, Way of Water was like that too. it mainly was a rehash of the first movie, but with evil jake speed running the first movie along side jake with the water tribes. But very visually beautiful film
