AI is not all negative. It has been successfully used for over a decade to support scientific research, enhance software application functionality, and reduce repetitive low-skill tasks.

Thanks for breaking your silence...something I wrote to you about just this afternoon. Mr. Carney has made a deal with the devil, and Premier Smith couldn't stop smiling at the MOU event...very uncharacteristic of her! As others have said, many of us are watching this issue very closely.

Facebook is the only way I can stay connected with family and friends (not FB "friends", real friends). I've tried to evangelize my favourite alternative Mastodon, but with no success. Bluesky is just another corporate devil like Facebook, but I like it sometimes, so I'm staying for now...

Your reasoning is flawed. The critical emergency response for this accident was finished in 20 minutes. The hours-long full highway closure was for accident investigation. Stop doing accident investigations, and keep critical routes open!

No, human nature hasn't changed much from what I've experienced over my 74 years of life. Generalizing: 1950s-60s lots of guardrails and expectations kept people polite; 1970s-80s people felt more free to disagree, even be obnoxious; 1990s-2000s toxic disagreements were easy as we connected online.

The board of education IT department should have a proxy server which blocks all dodgy websites, kicks up a warning to the user, and keeps a log of incidents so they can be acted on. Not that I'm condoning his amoral behaviour...🤨
