“Ready Set Rumble” acrylic gouache on acrylic panel. Got back HEAVY into wrestling almost two years ago and also picked up gouache for the first time. Still like how it came out. While making it I was thinking of watching Ultimate Muscle as a kid on foxbox and anime intro cliches. Also Dr. Phratos

Had a pretty good time with Holbein gouache but kept feeling quality paralysis. It’s ridiculous I know but I decided to try out some cheaper priced options to test the quality. This was done with a Himi set. Honestly can’t tell between skill and product issues but they feel great regardless.

Trying out gouache this year after trying oil paint and inking. These are the first few pages in my water color sketchbook. Mixed media: gouache , acrylic marker, sakura solid marker.

Did a couple pieces playing around with Sharpie Creative Markers. Solid acrylic paint markers. So far lightfastness is decent retook these pictures just now after finishing them a couple months ago.
