Released on this date in 1983, the debut album "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨" by Tears for Fears, had an incredible impact on me. It would help shape the style and genre of music I favor to this day. Powerful and relatable then, it still resonates loudly after all these years.

I'm lazy, so I normally use my Keurig to heat water for tea. Trust me when I say to be sure and remove any old coffee K-cups before doing so. I drank half a cup of Chamomile late last night trying to figure out why it tasted so bad before realizing my mistake. I didn't fall asleep until 3am. 😵‍💫

I lived in Denver for a while. Sometimes on trips back to the Bay Area I would make the drive through Utah and Nevada via Las Vegas, and then up I5. I enjoyed the solitude of that drive, and the incredible views along the way.

I just stumbled onto the the new series The Agency on @paramountplus.bsky.social. It has a stellar cast with Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere. First episode was good but not great. The second episode has kicked into gear. I'll be watching this one! Are you watching it?

Why is there no clear-cut winner in the poncho vs jacket rain gear debate? And why is the range of prices so wide for such poorly performing quality across both options?

The sky here on the central coast of the #MontereyBay in #California has gone from brilliant blue in the morning to a dull shade of grey, as the tail end of the atmospheric river makes its way east across the Pacific. Rain is expected to begin falling tomorrow afternoon.
