I wonder to what extent journalists are, consciously or subconsciously, being influenced by simply being on X. There are certain topics that are getting a great deal of coverage (eg Maria Steen) despite being of fairly marginal significance outside of X's bots/algorithms.

A partnership between the Toy Show and the fast fashion retailer Penneys will not go ahead this year, RTÉ has confirmed in a statement. Penneys said the partnership was "paused" because an ordering deadline "coincided with the initial conversations with RTÉ Investigates."
