As Business editor Jason Walls follows the framing of the National party and dutifully reports what 'business' wants. As he came from ZB that might not be a surprise, but it may be indicative of management direction. Katie Bradford was better.

Interesting. Tame is one of the better ones IMHO. But I have noticed Church's reports often follow the framing and lexicon of the Trump Administration, not a lot of critiquing going on - dictator is just one example.

The same question could also be asked about Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. He attempted to delay Presidential elections in 2014. Israeli elections are due in October 2026. Netanyahu could concoct a reason to stay in office, especially if he still faces a potential trial on corruption charges.

Hi David. I agree there are some legitimate concerns around AI. I only use base images from public domain. Some of it comes from having the mind of a cartoonist, but being completely lacking in artistic ability! (1/2)

This is what happens when Auckland doesn’t have a viable centre-left mayoral candidate and an ex-Labour councillor runs as an 'independent' on right-wing policies. Despite Brown's re-election, the strong showing for Blank and Informal should also be read as a clear message from the electorate (2/3)

Kia ora Sue. My reaction yesterday was much the same. You questioned when anyone can ever trust Labour - here is my answer. joehendren.substack.com/p/labours-vi...
Labour's view on youth welfare: 18- and 19-year-olds aren't adults either
Why the removal of the unemployment benefit for 18–19-year-olds reveals the limits of Labour’s empathy in practice.

On the matter of a window at Peters' house being broken, my friend LiquidTimes on Twitter had a solid response. Peters, once again, is being a consistent hypocrite #nzpol
