I give Cambridge some credit for not waiting for another tragedy to occur before fixing this dangerous bike / pedestrian lane by the Boston University boathouse. This used to be narrow sidewalk with no curb with a section where bikers had to merge into oncoming traffic.

I found myself walking to the beach near a woman in her 70s. We were both obviously going to see the sunrise, so I commented that I wasn’t sure it would be a good one due to the clouds. Her reply was: “Every morning you get to see the sunrise, it’s a good sunrise.”
