This particular bit is still just a claim by the plaintiffs. I’m sure Apple had many embarrassing 3sec recordings from false pos. hey-Siri detections & were eager not to have them turn up in discovery, but to say they were turning this info directly over to advertisers in real time is a stretch.

I downloaded one of the programs from their "All projects" page to a Windows 11 Pro machine. The cert was trusted out of the box (and I didn't see any Defender warnings). It's almost certainly not an EV cert but it appears to work ok.

I increasingly find this to be true of games generally, but I bought it nevertheless 😵‍💫
