This is an absolutely incredible piece of detective work.

Enjoy! Roads might get messy again in the afternoon with the storm.

We're going up Christmas day, typically very quiet

Creekside is the move. Only downside is if you end up buried in P3 or P4 behind the mass exodus and southbound light cycles/traffic jam

Ours is on top of a mid November PWL and rain crust from last week 🙃

Our alpine is filled in quite nicely, lower mountain, not so much

😬 that's unfortunate timing.

How are things in Squamish? I hear it's under a "no poop" advisory?

There's a lot of tourists here and they only have a small window when they visit so they go up no matter what. That was the consensus from my inlaws working village host this weekend

Duffey open again, with intermittent closures today for avalanche control

That is exciting for the sunshine coast. She's had a place in halfmoon bay since the 70s, and hangs out in Pender Harbour often.

Not to brag, but my wife's cousin has a cottage next to Neil Young in Ontario and I ate breakfast next to Gene Simmons in Whistler once.

I agree on all counts. There is absolutely an increasing subset of less experienced backcountry users using this hut, highlighted in this article.

The micro terrain navigation on the final approach walks a very fine line in terms of risk.

You can draw whatever line you'd like. I did not see the post in question, I have no access to it since everyone associated with it is banned

You're eager to put me a complete stranger in a box based on my gender though. That's where my line is. I won't be engaging you any further

All the best

Following someone and interacting, discussing, are very different things IMO

Don't understand the gender correlation

Just pointing out that you lose out on a balanced viewpoint if you ban someone for liking a post you disagree with, which I think was your thesis in the original thread?

Sounds like there's a lot of blocking on both sides. This one happens to be a friend of mine. Wasnt even given the chance to agree or disagree? 🤷🏼
