Seeking Pasture will be a movie and art installation: seekingpasture.net

It's been wonderful exploring the city with Sarah and Rebecca. Looking at everything with fresh eyes—sort of like what it felt like when I was a dad of very young kids. They are startled by the cars and other machines that we encounter, including the many lawnmowers and leaf blowers.

And I’m with them for every minute, guiding them, shepherding them; and linked to them via their woolen halters. We begin each day—early!—by grazing in the yard in our home. Then we start walking, searching for additional pasture.

Seeking Pasture will be a movie and art installation about our relationships to our yards, our ecosystems, and the species who live here with us. Stay tuned as the project continues to develop!

We only ask that you keep any chemical fertilizers and pesticides away. We wouldn’t want to hurt Sarah or Rebecca, after all! God only knows what impact we’ve had on our environment and our collective health already.
