I concluded long before Keir Starmer won his loveless landslide that the Labour party is no longer a vehicle for working people & must be destroyed.

The problem with Starmer's approach is that it presumes the post-war international order is still intact and that Trump is some sort of temporary aberration. Or worse, that Trump himself can be managed.

Neither is true. Starmer is relying on a defunct playbook of an age that is disintegrating.

This is how civilisations end - the debasement and instrumentalisation of its own values in the service of grotesque misanthrope, an insecure, paranoid elite turning on those who still hold to its original vision. This is how Rome disintegrated. History now repeats itself. #GretaThunberg
