Jeremy Corbyn - lifelong peace activist and anti-apartheid campaigner - was expelled from Labour. A man who cannot be bought.

Peter Mandelson was allowed to voluntarily resign.

But Starmer's Labour definitely is *not* an instrument to protect wealth & power. Got that? Good.

This "infantilising" is prefigured in neoliberalism. Von Mises said humans had only a *basic* rationality that is augmented by market-driven practices - a kind of "homo agens". Humans deprived of independent thinking are thus vulnerable to demagogy. Trumpism is a facet of this neoliberal misanthrope

I concluded long before Keir Starmer won his loveless landslide that the Labour party is no longer a vehicle for working people & must be destroyed.

We can add weakness to the list of betrayal & deceit.

Labour is a vehicle for wealth & power, an instrument of Capital

The problem with Starmer's approach is that it presumes the post-war international order is still intact and that Trump is some sort of temporary aberration. Or worse, that Trump himself can be managed.

Neither is true. Starmer is relying on a defunct playbook of an age that is disintegrating.

This is how civilisations end - the debasement and instrumentalisation of its own values in the service of grotesque misanthrope, an insecure, paranoid elite turning on those who still hold to its original vision. This is how Rome disintegrated. History now repeats itself. #GretaThunberg

When historians of the future document how and why western civilisation disintegrated, why it collapsed in on its own contradictions, they will note incidents like this. The militarisation of police, the demonisation of humanitarian protest & valorisation of genocide.

Yes, but no doubt the BBC & Sky will trot out the usual cretins from the Tufton Street stink tanks who thought Brexit was great & Liz Truss the best PM since Thatcher to talk utter bollocks about how Reeves is the "wrong" kind of neoliberal & all we need is to destroy what's left of the state.

You must go now I'm afraid. My tolerance level for unresponsive cretins is quite low, you see.
