So, I made this template (which was also used as a BG) to fit into everyone's asteroid BGs. The trees branch out into a hexagonal shape that is easily flip-able and repeatable so it can be tucked into the back of a BG without being too obvious.
In the end, I dropped this into most every scene!

One of the big things with this episode was realizing that no matter where you stood on this asteroid, you would see the underside of tree canopy in the distance. This meant every single BG the team made, we would need an extensive layer of branches and foliage to tuck in there.
