Started reading 'The Golden Compass'. I saw the film adaptation years ago, and I'm simultaneously relieved and disappointed that they never got around to adapting the sequels.

I've just finished reading Stephen King's 'It' for the first time. Wow.
It's definitely not among my favorites, but it has its moments, both good and bad.
