There's a time for collegiality and political norms, it's not when there's a full-blown authoritarian takeover of our government and goons invading cities from blackhawk helicopters and zip-tying naked kids or shooting a protester after ramming her car.

yeah. seemed like everyone smoked back then.
the kitchen where we at our meals was usually cloaked in clouds of smoke.

it definitely contributed to my asthema as a child.

We also need to put in our Constitution immediate repercussions for violating the Constitution and also for violating your oath to the Constitution. It should become impossible to ignore it and our laws and get away with it. No matter your position.

I find I become more self-aware when:
1) I'm with another person and look into their eyes and really listen to them.
2) I am connecting to nature, the sky above me, touching a tree, looking at the ocean, or being barefoot on the grass.
3) Having a belly-laugh about some silly thing.

I have had similar thoughts recently too. Mostly, I appreciate how hard my parents worked to raise us four kids.

Not sure what it is, but I really like the smell of my morning toast and coffee. I think it brings back a childhood memory of my parents enjoying their morning toast and coffee.

I could have done without their cigarette smoke tho. :)
