Neelix didn't really bother me. What did bother me was him *AND* Kes. Neelix didn't bother me. Kes didn't bother me. The two of them together kind of did.

Yeah, the one Voyager I'm not looking forward to is one where Chakotay manifests some dream thing as a boxer.
I'll also have a bunch of stuff to say about Janeway in the pilot - basically I felt from first watch back in 1995 that her decision to destroy the array and their way home was wrong.

I know the reality of it, but as a fan I still wished the clips were there. :)

Also, I'll start Voyager on 1 Jan.
In between now and then I'm doing Black Adder plus Season 2 of Blake's 7.

Oh I understand that. There's a handful of TOS episodes I didn't like as a kid, as I wanted to see "ship stuff" or Klingons or something like that.
This one I hated as a kid, but as an adult I adore it.

The voice translation stuff Apple announced for the AirPods Pro 3 kind of felt like a step in that direction.

DS9 has always been my favorite Trek series, this rewatch basically re-affirms that. I don't actively dislike ANY Star Trek incarnation (even Enterprise or Discovery). But Voyager felt way more "lite" on the whole than DS9 did. I suppose after coming off DS9, that felt lighter in tone.

That didn't bother me. Both then and now - as I was caught up in the spectacle of it.

The only thing I thought was missing was clips of Terry Farrell in the montages. Apparently she didn't give permission at the time, as she was apparently still bitter about what happened.
That's my only negative. This is is a spectacular (double) episode.

idea was his. TNG had an amazing ending, I think I enjoy this just a smidge more due to the excellent way everything is wrapped up - especially the Dominion War. Still wish they'd do an HD remaster of DS9. #SiskoLives

Winn, Dukat, and Sisko - apparently. As far as I can tell, Sisko's end was supposed to be just a death, but Avery himself didn't want to leave the "abandon his baby" message with viewers, so the "come back"

see a little bit of what life on the station is like after the end of the main story. I LOVED that. It's the final ep for everyone obviously, but we meet actual ends for several characters - Damar, Weyoun,

The only thing I can think of with Bautista is this.
a baseball player wearing a blue jays jersey is talking to another player wearing a red jersey with the number 12 on it

Rarity of 13 - All 9 are Texas Rangers.
Was doing fine until Teddy Baseball killed my score. Was the OG manager of the team, gets in that way - I think he's the only person to work in that square as a Ranger?

That will be more a thing I think if/when the MLB teams actually havre their own presence and the beat writers hang out here. Which they mostly don't - at least that I've noticed. They're still really the primary reason I still go there.

A little late today. Rarity of 2. All 9 are Texas Rangers.

This line by Quark was a riot the first time I saw it in 99. My wife and I roared with laughter. Later found out this and the scene with Picard they're mimicking were written by the same guy. Super funny moment.

Ferengi for a final time. That ends up with Rom being the new Grand Nagus, a twist I didn't see coming first time. Bashir finally "gets" Dax, albeit Ezri & not Jadzia. Overall, an excellent setup for the finale.

I did as well, but a fair amount of my OG 80's cassettes survive to this day.
