A brisk walk from C19 to A28 for flight 2: AA 2151 DFW - DCA onboard a 737-MAX8. Upgrade cleared ~30 hours pre-departure on a hub to hub route 🤯

Is AA having some weird font outage with their gate screens? Both CLT and DCA look like they’re using some default times new roman type. Looks super unintentional.

Flight 2: AA 3154 CLT - AUS. Back on the same AA 737, no upgrade for me this time (10 / 43 for zero seats lol). Exit row will do nicely.

Complimentary WiFi already active at the gate - cool! Not surprising that it redirects to an AA credit card application website lol

Airport showers: 6 (DOH x 3, HKG x 2, DFW)

Really nice flight this morning, with about a 15 minute arrival delay due to the deice time at MSP.
Connecting flight to IAD is also delayed about an hour, so have some time in the admirals club. The huge space is busy today but not slammed.

Upgrade cleared about 30 hours before departure, so should be a good flight. Although I do hate that these planes only have one bathroom at the back.

Original DFW flight delayed so would’ve misconnected. Chose to just reroute rather than plan standby at DFW. So far so good, like as my original flight still hasn’t pushed, and this upgrade came through at the gate

With F1 in Singapore this weekend, I’m reminded that this time last year I had not been to Asia. I’ve now been FOUR times, including three trips to Singapore.
