I’m not sympathetic to his plight, and I had a close relative with dementia
His family, handlers, enablers, and all the P2025 assholes taking advantage of the situation are as bad, if not worse. They are culpable and should be held just as accountable as he for everything he does

There is obviously an element of contributory dementia. Anybody who’s seen it up close recognizes it.
Harder in his case because its his inner self coming forth.

I think I’m more disappointed in the rank and file journalists. If there had been some pushback and solidarity among them in the beginning of this downward spiral, it could have at least been mitigated to an extent, perhaps stopped entirely

Dementia patients get meaner as they deteriorate. And to continually have people excuse his already nasty behavior, its going to be worse than the average Joe, I think

By and large, the 4th Estate has let us down primarily because it's mostly corporate own and thus profit driven. Have you ever noticed that we're always referred to as "consumers" but rarely, if ever as producers and yet we do both.
