I very rarely disagree with Thom, but I take exception to this idea. When Republicans asked for preemptive blanket pardons, we ridiculed them saying if you did nothing wrong you wouldn't need a pardon. Now we want to do the same thing. This is very hypocritical and undermines the justice system.
