If there's one episode not a lot of people talk about that I’d count as among the worst… it’s actually from Season 2.

Patrick is BEYOND unlikable in this episode, & the ending meant that, in the end, SpongeBob was humiliated & mocked for absolutely nothing. At least "Dumped" had a happy ending.

I mean, with all that SpongeBob has put her through, can you really blame her?

Still comes off as very unpleasant and mean-spirited. And mean-spirited humor only works if all the cruelty ultimately amounts to something. This episode… doesn’t do that.

Harlan was a well known writer but yeah, what he joked about did not go over well with Disney.

Yeah, well their AI-generated content thing is gonna be shut down as soon as someone uses it to bring Harlan Ellison’s vision to life, if you know what I mean.
