I've been working on it for a while - the new Memorics revamp is finally live.

New look. New domain. Same mission: make studying actually work.

Memorics just got a full revamp - faster, smarter, and designed to make learning easier.

If you are building anything with AI and Typescript, I can highly recommend using Vercel's AI SDK. It makes implementing AI features very easy and switching models is literally just changing one line.

Anthropic really needs to lower prices for Claude. The model is great, but just not sustainable in the long run. I will be moving away from it for Memorics because otherwise I will have to limit it to extremes for my users to not lose large amounts of money. (1/2)

Spent a few hours making the first marketing video for Memorics. It's far from perfect, but it's a start to build on. Let's see how it performs.

Another highly requested feature:

Type mode is now available for Memorics. Instead of simply checking if your answer is correct, you can now also practice your spelling for vocabulary or technical terms. Just click on the Preferences icon in the deck title to turn it on.

Strong start to 2025. Let's keep going.

Shipped another feature for Memorics:

You can now practice both sides of flashcards in a deck, which is especially useful for vocabulary you might need to know both ways. Just click on the three dots in the deck title to turn it on.

o3-mini is here!

I unfortunately don't have access to the API yet, but I'm excited to test it as soon as I do.

Added PDF as an input option for Memorics. You can now upload a PDF with up to 25 pages at a time and let the AI create flashcards from them.

Creating cards from PDFs will cost 2 AI credits per generation and two more per page.

Introducing Memorics: Instantly turn your notes into flashcards. Just snap a photo of your study material and start learning. Great for vocabulary and more. Study smarter, not harder. Try it now.

(Hopefully) last deployment before launch tomorrow.

Final UI touches for the Memorics launch tomorrow. The landing page is also ready. Now I just have to do some final tweaks. Then I can focus on the marketing. (I put it off until the last possible day...)

Memorics, an AI-powered flashcard app I've been working on, will go into public beta on Monday. I just need to add some quality of life improvements and design updates over the weekend, so stay tuned.
