It’s a regulation that they have to meet as a telephony provider. Businesses use it because it’s very easy to add in, and provides call center and other features

Yes, it’s for emergency services, and whatever that countries equivalent is to 911 (here in the US). All telephony providers have to hook into emergency services and know where to sent them. Was much easier with land line communications, but since teams can be mobile, it needs a location service.

I know this is a joke. But the real answer is e911 services as teams also acts as a VOIP provider for many businesses.

have to laugh at all of this. Most people understand what Star Wars was based on and understand the history. However, with younger generations it’s an easy way to connect without just yelling “they are Nazis!!” Also your alienating people who are not only behind the cause but fighting daily.

Highly recommend all the people in here that agree stop using the discovery feed and go select or curate feeds. What’s great about BlueSky is you can curate and share feeds!
