I find a wide brimmed hat (cowboy style) makes a huge difference when walking in rain.

Halifax Town was the first longer distance away game I went to. Would have been in the mid 70's when we would often take less than 20 supporters to an away game. The "Away Club" was run by Alan and Peter Bushel.

We are fortunate to see them most days along the creeks near the River Crouch in Essex.
