"What is the most precious thing in the world? It seems to be the consciousness of not participating in injustice. Injustice is stronger than you are, it always was and it always will be, but let it not be committed through you.”

Nothing is going to change until we find a way to control capitalism. A system that rewards greed is never going to be fair or look after the planet and those most in need. Trump and his cabal of psycho cronies will always steal - money, hope, life.

Yes that is annoying, but even more annoying to me is when they cancel a TV series before the story has reached the end. I think if TV companies want to do that they should have to publish a book completing the story properly.

Whilst not denying men have caused enormous amounts of horror throughout history there have been times when women in power have also ordered/allowed slaughter etc. Surely it is not gender that is the issue but the totality of power? If we want a better world we need to limit politics & corporations.

Have you read this book? You might find it interesting. I have no association with the author or publishing company just loved it as a book and think you'd enjoy it.

Just finished Jerusalem - A History of the Middle East by Simon Sebag Montifiore. Fascinating, surprisingly easy to read. I'll often mark some passages in a book if I think I might want to refer to them later. Don't think I've ever marked this many.
