And just to update on this, I have now finished Ballard and it was excellent. In fact I would say it was better than the end of Bosch and most of Bosch Legacy (both of which I enjoyed).
Pretty faithful to the book it was working from as well from what I remember.
I hope it gets a second season!

I was surprised with @jamescdyer.bsky.social review of Ballard, I'm 4 episodes in and really enjoying it. Its obviously not Bosch, but its still good.

I played A LOT of Hollywood Mogul 2 and 3 back in the day. Looking forward to this.

I really enjoyed Here, the kind of film that is right up my street. Yes it laid it on a bit think with the schmaltz at times and some of the de-aging cgi wasn't great, but overall I loved it.

I've seen some suggestion that one way to get growth going in the economy would be tax cuts for the richest to get them to invest. Do you think that would work and do you think there would be the political will if so?
