I think the bet is that the technology so transformational it creates opportunities we can’t imagine (or quantify) rn. Uber was only possible after everyone had a smartphone. The valuations are for what AI enables not the thing itself. That may end up being way oversold - but is logical to a degree.

100% agree. I think this could end up being a tonal mess. The humour is there, but it’s dark as all hell. Not sure that fits with Taika’s vibe at all. Would love to be proved wrong though - and apparently he’s a massive 2000AD nerd.

I kind of like this approach tbh-you learn a lot in the process of doing & I would love to see government trying bold things. That the current opportunity to do bold things with tech is likely going to involve AI is worrying-but also all bold moves are(?) We don’t know what will work until try.
