Decades of road salt spread near suburban reservoirs are contaminating NYC's water supply. If nothing is done to reverse the trend, the water system will have to be abandoned. The soaring saltiness poses a challenge to a system that serves more than 9 million New Yorkers. ny1.com/nyc/all-boro...
