Sorry, but you are on your own now. I am going to go do something cheery, like finish reading "A Short Account of the Destruction of the Indies."

That's what I thought was going to happen.

I thought the were going to sub him out for Spicer and go with two center backs.
October 23, 2025 at 2:02 AM
I guess that saves me $180 or so. What happened to this season?
October 23, 2025 at 2:00 AM
I don't think I have never seen a .02 expected goal.
October 23, 2025 at 1:36 AM
I am beginning to wonder if the entire team is colorblind and just can't distinguish between players.

Two thoughts ahead of Five Things We Learned (you really should rename that column Five Things We Saw). First, this team's inability to keep possession has become its undoing. Second, perhaps Enrique meant more to this team then was previously thought.

They haven't been in sync at any point on either end.

From an ESPN story: According to a Leagues Cup spokesperson, the "Leagues Cup Organizing Committee will review the incidents at the end of the game and proceed accordingly."
You're up MLS. What 'cha gonna do?

I was kind of hoping they would roll out a squad like the Nashville one just to tell Garber to drop dead. I need to let that Miami game go,don't I?

Competitive imbalance is why I have no interest in the big European leagues. It is why I went from avid follower of college sports to a disdainful disinterest. Garber wants MLS to be a star on the on the international stage. Competitive imbalance seems to be the cost of doing business.

I would love to hear the explanation of that one. Cue Andrew Wiebe and his apologistic take.

We are in hurricane season.
August 22, 2025 at 10:41 AM
Heck, just go read Sinclair Lewis' "It Can't Happen Here." He wrote that in 1935.

Ban short corners?

Wouldn't worsening job market boost the argument for Fed rate cuts?
August 3, 2025 at 11:54 PM
What does it say about us when we bring in Santos as an offensive piece?
June 29, 2025 at 1:20 AM
If you are one of these officers, how in the world do you go home and tell your significant others or your kids about your day? How could you even THINK this was OK?
June 15, 2025 at 2:37 PM
I am sorry, but I think we settled this issue 160 years ago. How about stopping with silly ideas?
June 14, 2025 at 1:21 AM
I'm 13 years younger than you, and I think the same thing.

But that required a non-compliant legislative branch. We foresaw our problem 236 years ago: "Ambition must be made to counteract ambition. The interest of the man must be connected with the constitutional rights of the place." Our legislature and judiciary do not care to protect their own rights.

Two thoughts based on His track record. First, who is going to say no. Second, even if that happens, who will enforce "no"? This is the problem, and I do not know where to find a solution.

Everyone surprised by this decision raise your hand.
