Should’ve read “I may have rated it a half star *too high”.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review of the new documentary MERCHANTS OF JOY, available on Amazon Prime. I may have rated it a half star, but ‘tis the season for giving.
A ★★★★ review of The Merchants of Joy (2025)

SILENT NIGHT was ok. Definitely lesser John Woo. I think I understand why he chose to work with the material, given his penchant for visual storytelling and flair. And Joel Kinnaman was really up for the task of the silent protagonist. But the film could have used a stronger “partner” character.

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 review of FRANZ KAFKA’S IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Available on YouTube.
A ★★★★½ review of Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life (1993)
A nearly perfect short film. Oscar winner for its writer/director - future Doctor Who Peter Capaldi - who draws inspiration from the title character’s work, as well as Frank Capra, Carlo Collodi (Pino...

Donald Trump has been right about one thing in the past five years… 78 is too old to hold the office of President.
