In Microsoft, everything is AI now...

The day performance is the top selling feature, most games will be focusing on that.

Today advertising media has changed form the old print madia to video. Performance, is still considerably less important to promote work. Large scale vistas, croud density, expansive environment demo well on video.

Today, 40+ years since Photoshop was released, you can still see bad Photoshop works. But man, if you know how to use it, you can make magic.

The sane thing will happen with AI tools. /2

I argue that Unreal is not the problem. It's the marketing and inexperienced developer. Unireal is just a tool. We humans just view what others do with a tool and assume the tool will work without proper training and knowledge. /1

I would day that has not changed. Graphics sell games, performance sway the reviews.

Give us an Xbox Emulator on ‘Xbox’ PC. I want all my Xbox OG/360/One/Series games playable on PC.

One platform, on store, one place to play all my games.

I'm thinking it will be forward compatible... I see absolutely no way for this product to be profitable on the current Series console.

(Though... given the markup, maybe they will.)
June 2, 2025 at 7:25 PM
It is called an Xbox Series... 🤣

But jk aside... With those prices, it would most likely be too expensive specially since it would more than likely be used once.

They are already late... Shifting focus towards a lost cause instead of investing on a very big potentially successful device. Yeah... A classic shift towards failure.

🤣 I like putting the thing in the thing too.

It's its own experience by itself.

this ☝️

I keep telling my friends the same thing. The fact that we know of the lockout this early is proof that they needed it in the first place. 🤷‍♂️

I'm of the opinion of “who cares?” Everyone should be able to want, purchase, use, consume, and enjoy whatever makes them happy. There is no “best option”, only the option that brings you happiness. Asking for only one option to exist is simply selfish behavior.

I'm sure they relaxed the rounding rules quite a bit. 🤣

Expedition 33 sold 3.3M copies in 33 days. 👀

Lol!

It is so sad that proper writing is now considered fake.

No emulation, it is code translation. It is a subtle but important difference.

In the case of performance, Windows is not optimized for any ine hardware. SteamOS is optimized for a very narrow set of hardware. That will always give them the edge in performance.
May 26, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Everything in life is a trade off.

Microsoft has always (for better or worse) focused on compatibility and ease of use over performance.

Good ornbad, it depends on who you ask. 🤷‍♂️

I simply appreciate the competition. That is the only way we win.

Janky graphic... I call those igneous. Limits allow creativity people to be creative.

the magic of IoT... I have recently, as much as possible, started to have dedicated devices for everything. It makes my setup much more complex but man, it helps me avoid these kind of issues.

And me trying to finish Lost Odyssey before then... Not sure I'll be able to accomplish that.

It's interesting that less than 4% use the subscription feed... 😱

I'm definitely one of those in the 4%. Every day, I check the top bar and scroll to find the followers with a blue circle, indicating new content.

Look at that—there you are, with a new goodie ready to watch!

Bluesky is now popular. That is the metric for success.

Keep an eye on the subscriber count. I bet you'll start seeing a lot of temporary subscribers just to post a reply.

You got one! Now start praying for "followers-only" posts.
