Bloke with a painfully short attention span and a love of British naval war films.
Post a pic of the venue where you saw your first concert and the band or artist.

Romero’s now suspended for the Villa match. Injuries to Bentancur, Kudus and Bergvall, Porro in desperate need of a rest. #COYS

Talking of BBC balance, I remember when the Today programme gave equal time and emphasis to an academic climate scientist and to former Chancellor Nigel Lawson, on the subject of global warming.

I cut my toenails this morning. Wish I’d done it years ago. #farrier

If the liberation of Belsen happened today, the BBC wouldn't dare run the story without getting a quote from Julius Streicher.

I love the loft conversion we did a few years ago, but miss having somewhere to stuff all our crap that we can’t decide what to do with.

I had liver tonight. We used to eat it fairly regularly when I was growing up, but I’d forgotten how much I like it.

Feeling slightly jittery from the vast amount of cheese on toast I’ve just eaten in an effort to impact our cheese mountain.

I loathe that smug, self-important BBC Newscast ad.

I really wish I could play guitar like Ronnie Wood.

Going to a wedding reception tonight. Really looking forward to it, just wish I didn’t have to drive to the other side of London. Central London road closures means the satnav is suggesting driving around the M25 rather than heading through the middle. Resigned to a shit journey.

Watched Malta Story. Apart from being way too old to play his lead role, there’s something a bit creepy about Alec Guinness’s performance which makes it impossible to believe in his romance with Muriel Pavlow.

Back to work today. Anyone else? No? Didn’t think so. Bastards.

Happy I managed a 5k run this morning. Not so happy about the explosive rich food induced runners’ trots that followed.

Today I found a cassette tape of Mariachi music I bought in Veracruz 30+ years ago. I have regaled my family over the years with how funny we found it at the time, as the singer appears to shout WANKER over one of the songs. Quite glad I don’t have anything to play it on. So is my family.

Just been badly let down by a large Aldi pork pie. Pastry was ok, but the meat wasn’t coarse enough and was under seasoned. Will have to go on a last minute pie run when I finish work.

Aside from the crazily bad illustration, haven’t battleships been considered obsolete since the Second World War?

I wonder how many shop workers are wearing Christmas jumpers because they’ve been told to, or because they feel pressured into it? Poor buggers.

I think might be the last person in my company working today, though to be honest not a lot is happening. I’m mainly sitting here resenting the customers who are (very) occasionally contacting me.

You know it’s bad news when Fergus Walsh is presenting a story on BBC News. Still could be worse, could be Orla Guerin.
