It's time to break away. The whole urban-rural divide we're seeing in this country is actually a global occurrence. It's not unique. We could be seeing the beginning of a worldwide network of cities.
Currency secession.
Because we're not paying for it.

Futuristic civilization, lots of stylish architecture. Conveyor belts for sidewalks. Everyone looks young and fit thanks to major advances in genetics. Some even have horns or wings. Instantaneous notification of any event of consequence from around the world.

Counties regarded as "blue" in the former republic known as the United States were now part a larger confederation of modern, clean and humane city-states, namely....the Northeast, the Upper Midwest, Rocky Mountains and the West Coast city-states.

A futuristic civilization which has instant notification of any events of consequence through a global, people-powered news network. The network is a grid of square kilometers, with a human reporter who lives in each square and/or an API of scientific information.

A global semantic map.
It's a shape like a hexagon or an octagon.

The nominal universe in the most accurate rendering yet.

Almost through the second dimension, with three more to go after. Perhaps the big two will become smaller after I further edit into smaller groups.
The two big ones are:
MODisStA (Modular,Objective,Discrete,Static,Actual) or "tangible everyday objects"
GODisStA (Gestalt,..)
"everyday abstracts"

Here's another template which proportionalizes the types of nouns. In about 3 days, maybe sooner, it will give us the best picture yet of the nominal universe.

This is what my semantic map looks like now. 3500 nouns all in one picture is what I'm aiming for.
It's either 12 or 13 semantic group.
In other words, what I'm proposing is that all of human thought can be organized with such groups
