SSA sent an email which stated nearly 90% of recipients would pay no taxes on their benefits. Haven’t seen the retraction. Also haven’t seen a response from my congressperson when I (politely) ask her for a clarification of SSA’s statement.

Agreed. Maybe I should rephrase, I think what’s different now is the extent to which they publicly announce their intentions, in the past the “want” was there just not shouted from the hilltops.

Wow this might be a new low for Draft Dodging Donnie. The underlying message here seems to be WWI and WWII victories make their veterans winners. Whereas subsequent conflicts were either stalemates or a victory that stopped too soon, so their veterans are (opposite of winner).
