Or at least move it along at a faster pace. That part is dragging way too much. Tim Robbins is decently scary though.

Neither looks like they’d last a round. Especially Bannon. As someone with almost 40 years of martial arts experience, I know I’d barely last a round now I’m in my mid-50s.

Big Door Prize deserved to be shown the door. Totally lost us when the lead just had a random affair with a fellow teacher. The show then lost all interest in the main plot line about the spooky arcade machine. Just became a dull show about a douche.

Enjoying Silo, but they could definitely pick up the pace a little.

I don’t even like it when close friends and family DM me, let alone randoms.

But, I am also someone whose anxiety spikes whenever the landline phone rings (blessedly rarely these days) or any form of notification pings on my cell phone.

And when someone rings the doorbell 😱

Fell in love with this part of Scotland in 1987 on a two week geology field trip.

Years later I did a DNA test and was shocked to find my British ancestry is mostly from NW Scotland, and not England as my surname suggests.

That’s my wife’s favourite scene also. Whereas, I love the earlier bar scene.

I spotted how short their shadows were in the opening scenes downtown. That was some hot sun!

Also watched it with the family.

It suddenly struck me how cool the inventor dad is at the end with gruesome deaths of several neighbours and widespread destruction of the town all thanks to him bringing Mogwai home for his son.

That dude was cold.

It was certainly no Ozark ☹️

Same. It was about as plausible as a Carry On movie of old, but with none of the humour.

Merry Christmas, Ryan.

What happened to no more foreign wars?

And, will swapping Puerto Rico for Greenland be back on the agenda?

Maybe I will regain freedom of movement in the EU, which Greenland’s citizens enjoy, thanks to being half Puerto Rican. I lost it thanks to Brexit as I am also half British.

So, an upside?

Weird how I hardly remember them. Just the 8 limbs (although I know it’s not Muay Thai, it’s Pencak Silat).

This is exactly what jumped into my head when I saw the Archbishop of Notre Dame on TV at the reopening after its restoration.

View-Master.

Google Images of the 1970s.

Agreed. I sang that hymn descant, and others in the, 80s with my school choir. Quite badly, but fond memories nonetheless.

It’s like John Wick in it’s relentlessness, but almost entirely hand-to-hand and few, if any, guns from what I recall. So, definitely more my kind of film due to my four decade long obsession with martial arts.

At the point of hiring, yes. But, circumstances change. Injuries occur. People catch bugs, develop work-related psychological problems. The list goes on.

If his black friend plays for the NFL, why would said black person chose to live in the crappy neighbourhood where this white dude almost certainly lives? Nah, the NHL player can afford somewhere altogether better.

Do you know how the military assesses fitness for deployment? Maybe it’s as tough, if not more so, as the PIP assessment. I have no idea, but your post suggests you have a clear idea of the different assessment standards. So, please, do share.

Bandae dollyo chagi?

I just dug that from deep inside my head thanks to years of taekwondo in the 80s and 90s.

This one has no backup.

The Catholic Church invented limbo in the 12th century, and then ditched the idea in 2007 (the year the iPhone was launched. Interesting 🤔).

No other Christian faiths even accepted the idea of limbo, and it was never part of the Magisterium anyway.

Hope that helps 😂
