“This is very serious for the populations..we also expect summer temperatures in Spain & France to reach unprecedented levels in the next few years.. Many of the events predicted for 2050 or 2070 are already happening. We underestimated the speed of change. What we’re seeing now is an acceleration”

I've turned my back on and lost those that I love so many times. I wish I could figure out why. It hurts so much when they're not in my life any more and I have to start again.
And by "those" I mean nice pens.

From a source: “Just had a co-presenter for a buildings research conference bow out. She’s a dual citizen and the FBI came knocking to ask her about her involvement in coauthoring chunks of the Paris Agreement.

Climate science is being literally (and I mean literally) criminalized.”

I missed this clanger - Ireland’s projected compliance costs (with conservative estimates) amount to nearly 1% of our gross national income (GNI*)! Whereas member states who over-perform against their targets stand to gain substantially.

“A colossal missed opportunity” - a clear message in a new report from from Ireland’s fiscal and climate advisory councils.

Instead of taking action to cut emissions (making energy cleaner & more secure, & diversifying farming) we face €26 billion in compliance costs to meet EU targets
