Yesterday morning I used ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) to get this image of a wooden lattice, I exposed for about 1/8 of a second and moved the camera rapidly vertically.

I don’t sell a lot of prints so it is always special when I do. And doubly special when it’s experimental, like this image with a slit filter to exaggerate the defraction, and intentionally out of focus. #photgraphy

Continuing to have fun with the slit aperture technique! #Photography

Walked by this scene yesterday and it made me wonder about how so many people are seemingly happy and willing to be trapped in cages of anger, hatred and ignorance. Their captors are laughing at them.

How about the US can go fuck itself.

Time for Canada to make deals with Asian car makers (and yes including China), and looking for other options for Canadian car vehicle manufacturing capacity.

Canada had to retool very quickly for WWII; we can do so again in the face of another enemy.

Took this image of a common milkweed plant yesterday, then noticed the face-like pattern when I was editing the image later in the day.

Trying some thing different photographically yesterday. Using my Petzval lens to shoot architectural abstracts in downtown Toronto. I am liking the results! #Photography

Thinking about Disney's rcent behavior, the late 1960's underground comic character "Mickey Rat" came to mind today.

It is fall and plants are beginning to die. The effect in this image is in camera; in front of the camera lens there is a filter with two pieces of black paper and a vertical slit between them. When shooting wide open for maximum background blur the slit distorts the background. #Photography

I’ve been getting into “Modern PIctorialism” recently. This image started with a colour negative film shot, using the "red scale" technique". (The film is rolled backwards so the orange/red film substrate acts as a colour filter.) I then did some more work in post. #Photography

View of a new bridge in the recently opened Biidaasige Park here in Toronto. To me the bridge has a retro-future look straight out the the 1960's show "Thunderbirds." #Photography #Toronto
