Another is Pokémon Blue with a GBC in 99. My birthday is early Dec, and I got the RedBlue guidebook then, so I had a whole month of anticipation and learning, like I was just devouring this book, absorbing all this info, so eager to play this game. Really hit different when I unwrapped it.

There’s a good handful of memories like that for me! One core memory is Christmas 1998 (I think) and me and my brother finally got an N64 from our Dad with Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie. Two heavy hitters straight away. We were eagerly bubbling away, waiting for it to be set up, poring over manuals.

The original is one of my favourite Fleetwood Mac songs. Heard this version recently and it felt like it was from a parallel universe! I enjoy the differences

fwiw imo, it’s a bubble that’s going to burst and burst big. I think actual people don’t give much of a damn about it and that it’s a tech bro buzzword atm. I’ve always thought it should be more ‘engine room’ than ‘front of house’. Also it’s gross how it steals art. And the energy usage - yikes!!

Yea I’m there too. It looks neat but even the sorta-reasonable-but-c’mon-it-shouldda-been-free £8 seems too much. At the *least* it should have been included with NSO. I might use the last of my gold points to help justify it to myself 😅. Which if I did also facilitates Nintendo’s behaviour so idk 🤷🏻♂️
